A clear written agreement protects everyone involved. It records what each party has promised, how payment works, what happens if something goes wrong and how disputes will be resolved. Verbal understandings and copied templates often leave gaps that only show up during a disagreement. A properly drafted contract reduces that risk and gives you something concrete to rely on later.

Vibence connects you with an independent advocate from our partner network to draft the document you need. That may be a service agreement, a vendor or client contract, a will, an affidavit or a document that needs notarising. The advocate takes your instructions, prepares a draft and revises it with you. Vibence is not a law firm. Stamp duty and notary charges are extra, and no outcome is guaranteed.

Contract Drafting: FAQs

Is Vibence a law firm?

No. Vibence is not a law firm and does not give legal opinions itself. Legal services listed on this page are provided by independent advocates in the Vibence partner network. Vibence helps you find a suitable advocate, coordinates documents and keeps you updated. Advice and representation come from the advocate. No outcome in any legal matter is guaranteed.

What types of documents can be drafted?

Common documents include service agreements, client and vendor contracts, consultancy agreements, non-disclosure agreements, partnership and co-founder agreements, rent agreements, wills and affidavits. Some documents also need to be notarised. If your requirement is unusual, share the details and the advocate will confirm whether it fits within the drafting plan or needs a separate quote.

Does a contract need stamp duty?

Many agreements must be stamped under the stamp law of the state where they are signed. The amount depends on the type of document and sometimes on its value. An unstamped or under-stamped agreement may not be admissible as evidence until the duty and any penalty are paid. The advocate will guide you on the stamp duty that applies.

How much does agreement drafting cost?

Agreement drafting through Vibence costs ₹1999 plus GST for one agreement, will, notarised document or affidavit prepared by an advocate from the partner network. A standalone consultation is available for ₹699. Stamp duty and notary charges are extra. Long or complex agreements may need a separate quote, which will be shared before work starts.

Is a verbal agreement legally valid?

Under Indian contract law many verbal agreements can be valid. Proving their terms during a dispute is difficult, however, because it often comes down to one person's word against another's. Certain documents must be in writing and some must be registered. A written agreement records the terms clearly and makes them easier to enforce.
